Sharing my 100-hour adventure in Hyrule This review may contain spoilers. Why I Started PlayingI spent over 100 hours exploring the world of Breath of the Wild on my Nintendo Switch. As someone who loves both gaming and taking time to appreciate experiences, this game gave me exactly what I was looking for - a vast world where I could explore at my own pace and discover things that personally connected with me.

After gaining experience with the Nintendo Switch Lite as a student, I want to share why it has become my go-to gaming device for short breaks. Why I Chose the Switch LiteThe Switch Lite’s compact form factor was the deciding factor for me. Since childhood, I’ve always preferred handheld gaming consoles like the Switch, not the 3DS. Unlike the original Switch, this handheld fits naturally in my backpack alongside my textbooks and laptop.

I want to write this guide to share my experience with other people when they are choosing a laptop to buy for programming. I will discuss different parts of a computer and, in the end, suggest some laptops that are good for each use case. This is my guide when buying a new laptop. If you plan to buy a used one, you should know what you will sacrifice. Disclaimer: This is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.

Before finishing the semester, we need to create an IoT device with an ESP32 board (we can use a real board or a simulator, though). We decided to use the simulator which is Wokwi to save costs. But the simulator has a long compile time on the web, so we need to use the local version which is Wokwi for VS Code. Having completed the installation and the setup process, I thought I would share my experience because the tutorial on the internet was not clear enough for my friends to follow.

I want to share my insights from a person who usually switches between Windows and Linux (NixOS) and my reason for using Linux (NixOS) as a daily driver. Why I use Linux Because Linux respects my hardware resources. I don’t want to use my system resources for anything like the weather in the taskbar, Cortana, Windows Copilot, or something like that. If I need them, I will install them, I don’t need Microsoft throwing them at me.

I want to write this post to help me in the future, in case there are things happen, I need to reinstall NixOS again or figure out what happens with my systems. Because of the non-FHS and declarative nature of NixOS, it is harder than other distros when we want to do something or install some apps. I also hope that this post can also be a reference for other users too.

This is the third time I have re-created my portfolio (blog) website. Several reasons led me to this decision. I used wordpress engines for the previous two and the experience was not good. I couldn’t control how my site worked and the features were too much for me to use all of them, I just wanted to write some posts. I used shared hosting for the old ones and it cost me some bucks.
